Sar Neechay Kaam Upar
In 3rd part of this series, Irfan showcases “Lallo Pakora” based in the Shah Faisal Colony. The shop is about 40 years old and The Man who started selling these legendary Pakoras is about 82 years old as as of now. The Man has spent half of his life selling these Pakoras.
The thing that I love the most about this particular Legend is that started by selling the Pakroas and now 40 years down the road he is still doing the same. In simple words: Playing on his Strength.
The special ingredient is you!
From the good old streets of Karachi, Now we are in New Karachi featuring “Khatri Biryani”. The venture was started by Ubaid Bhai’s father. Who learned the recipe from his wife, and her wife learned it from her brother Ustaad Guloo. So as of now, we know one thing for sure. This business of good food and taste runs deep in their blood.
As per natives: They just simply love the Taste and Spices. Just to mention that the legends of this Biryani claim that even if they tell you their recipe for this biryani, You still won’t be able to make it the same.
I think for the love of Biryani, I would have to plan a trip to Karachi.
No Overthinking Zone by Irfan Junejo
All the way from my love for The Biryani to The Legend who lives in the streets of Karimabad. This is the story of “Teddy Uppa Fries”. Teddy is been selling fries for the last 24 years of his life, and lifting weights since 1980.
As of now he is 61 years old, The legend has spent about one-third of his life selling fries. Teddy is also been doing weightlifting since 1980.
Business 103: Last Movers Advantage
And now for our last story of the day, we are gonna go to Korangi 4, Kallu Chowk at “Allah Razi Biryani”. They have selling Biryani for about a year now and people love them already, even so, some might think this is the best Biryani in Karachi.
People like to buy about 4 to 5kgs of takeaways and for some, it’s a daily ritual. Following the success of their Biryani and its amazing taste they have been able to scale their business to 3 new branches in just a year.
