Inside Out 2 is a newly released animated movie produced by Pixar Animation Studios which is also a subsidiary of Walt Disney Pictures.
Inside Out 2 is a coming-of-age film and sequel to its previous part which was released back in 2015. This is my non-spoiler review after watching the movie.
The storyline of Inside Out 2
The story of Inside Out 2 takes place two years after Riley moved to San Francisco which happened in the last part of the movie.
Her currently developed emotions “Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger and Disgust” have created a new section of her mind that holds the memories and feelings that form Riley’s beliefs known as a “Sense of Self”. Joy who is the smartest of all the emotions wants to fill the Sense of Self with only positive memories.
The story of the movie kicks off when Riley along with her best friends Bree and Grace are invited to a weekend ice hockey camp. On the night before the camp, a “Puberty Alarm” sounded off in her body and a group of mind workers barged into Headquarters to her emotion console.
The movie also unveiled the arrival of four new emotions into the Headquarters and introduced themselves as Anxiety, Envy, Embarrassment, and Ennui. The old and new emotions clash with each other in their approach to control Riley’s mind and help her get through things.
Will the new and old emotions be able to get along with each other for the better of Riley or will one of them have to leave?

My Thoughts:
Watching Inside Out 2 was really a joy. This movie has so much more than an animated film made for kids. Inside Out 2 just like its previous parts takes us on a journey of our past.
This is one animated movie series that I think is not only made for kids everyone who was a kid in the past, which means every single person. My favorite thing about the movie the “Nostalgia”.
