Maamla Legal Hai is a newly released Indian Comedy Series that you can watch on Netflix. This is my non-spoiler review after watching the complete series.
The 8 part series is full of humor and a big plot twist just like a classic Indian-style web series we all like. The series revolves around the lives of the lawyers at a prestigious law firm at District Court Patparganj.
The series is led by the charismatic and brilliant advocate VD Tyagi played by Ravi Kishan. The ensemble cast of Maamla Legal Hai delivers stellar performances that captivate the attention of the viewer from the first scene to the last.
What sets “Maamla Legal Hai” apart is its unflinching portrayal of the legal system’s intricacies. Each episode delves into a different case, intricately weaving together the legal proceedings, personal dilemmas of the characters, and the moral complexities underlying every decision made inside and outside the courtroom.
What I like the most:
My favorite storyline was when they had to call out the court to find a way to remove monkeys from the premises of the court. I find that to be one of the most hilarious stories and the way all of the characters were involved with that makes that thing stand out.
Moreover, I think that the comic timing from Nidhi Bisht and the one and only Brijendra Kala were just too good.
This 8-part series will take you on a ride where you’re gonna see the world around the legal courtrooms and the life of both an underdog and a successful lawyer.
You’re also gonna experience the things an advocate has to go through every day outside the courtroom to make themself relevant. Maamla Legal Hai also covers the exploitation of subordinates by superiors, nepotism, and the inability of the average person to find justice thanks to a lack of money, bureaucracy, and endless legal maneuverings
The main plot revolves around VD Tyagi who wants to win the elections to become the Bar Association President and is the self-declared head of the Patparganj Bar Association.
So, will he be able to make his wish true or destiny have some other plans for him?
