WWE PG Era is Dead
This past Monday we surely saw something that we have not seen on the WWE television in more than a decade. As so that, people are even asking if the WWE PG Era is Dead. There are just two main things from the show that I want to you about, so let’s get into that.

The CM Punk Promo
The first thing that I want to talk about is the CM Punk in Chicago promo. Ever since it was announced that CM Punk would be coming to Raw in his hometown of Chicago, Drew is been continuously talking trash about the Punk for weeks now and we all know how Seth loves to see Punk on the Show.
Just in case you want to know the back story of this show, you might wanna check out this article:
CM Punk in Chicago on the road to WrestleMania XL
The segment started with the return of CM Punk to the Allstate Arena with a massive Chicago ovation and Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre wasting no time coming out and taking the microphone in hand.
All there of these superstars have been firing on all cylinders for months, and now that CM Punk is out of action due to an injury placed WWE Creative thinking about how they can make this feud more interesting for the audience.
All three of the superstars threw verbal bombs and personal digs at each other, before mutually agreeing to the point that Punk would join the commentary team at WrestleMania for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship taking place on Night 2 of WrestleMania 40.
Rollins also delivered a Stomp to the Scottish Warrior, just reminding him where he needed to keep his eyes on.
The segment had a very good buildup and the OG crowd of Chicago was all into it, making it just perfect. We are just days away from WrestleMania 40 in Philly and the crowd really made it feel like it.
One of my favorite moments from the whole segment was when Drew Said:
“Who chose you? What’s his name?”
Referencing the former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
Drew also mentioned two other words:
“PG Brother”
This kept me thinking and asking Is WWE PG Era Dead?

The Rock attacks Cody Rhodes
The second thing I wanted to talk about is the last thing that happened on the Raw which also made me wonder if WWE PG Era is Dead?, when Cody was attacked blindsided by The Rock.
The attack segment that happened at the very end of the kept going until Raw went off the air, The Rock attacked Cody Rhodes in the backstage area while he was busy fighting with the rest of the bloodline.
The Rock unleashed havoc on The American Nightmare, he beat the holy hell out of Cody and even took him outside the arena in the rain. He continued beating Cody Rhodes until he stared he started to bleed.
The Rock kept his promise the Mama Rhodes as he wiped the blood off Cody’s forehead within that weight belt. The Rock also keeps using the word “SOB” which makes me wonder if it’s the end of the kids-friendly era for WWE.
The assault of rock continued even when the RAW went off the air, you can watch it below if you have missed it out.
This segment was downright ugly right from the get-go but, it really set the tone for how much will be on the line at the WrestleMania XL next weekend.
And the only question remaining now is that if the WWE PG Era is Dead?
