Landing

Landing is the most important part of the game it is a process of falling from the battle bus to land. Landing is done using a glider. The process of landing is all about the right place to start your game. You have to land in the area where you can find items for yourself. If you want to land first and collect the items quickly have to land straight down.

Battle Bus

The Battle Bus is the vehicle that transports up to 100 players to the map at the beginning of the game. The Battle Bus appears to have blue paint on it. A large hot air balloon, inflated by the blue flame under it, is placed on top of the bus.

Glider

The Glider is an item that players use while jumping off the Battle Bus. Players deploy the glider after jumping off the Battle Bus by pressing (X on PlayStation 4, A on Xbox One & Space Bar on PC), while Skydiving. Skins are also available for the Glider. These have no impact on the Glider’s function. They can be purchased in the Item Shop using V-Bucks or earned through various challenges.

Lucky Landing

Lucky Landing is a location on the Battle Royale Map. It is themed around Japanese/Chinese-styled buildings, and features cherry blossom trees. Since a very low amount of people go here, and the loot is ideal, it is a very underrated section of the map.

Chest & Looting:

If you are near a chest, you can hear its noise, notifying you about the chest’s presence. Learn how to tackle an incoming Supply drop from the sky. Shoot the balloon that the supply box is attached to for it to pop and release the supply box faster. Loot comes in four categories.

  • Common – 100 of wood, stone or metal
  • Uncommon – 200 of wood, stone, or metal
  • Rare – 300 of wood, stone, or metal
  • Epic – 400 of wood, stone or metal
  • Legendary – 500 of wood, stone or metal

Chest will always contain the following items.

  • A gun or other projectile weapon
  • Ammo for the gun (if applicable)
  • A consumable item
  • 30 Wood, Stone, or Metal

Building in Fortnite:

The building is a primary part of Fortnite.  Building is important for defense as these can only be created using the building process. Materials including Wood, Stone, and Metal are required in player’s inventory to build. Players can gather the materials needed from trees, cars, fences, signs, boulders, etc. Gather materials by destroying items with the pickaxe.

To create a structure, use the build menu during a mission. If the player has the amount needed to build the structure, a blue outline of the structure will appear in front of the player. Structure pieces can either be placed on the ground or will need to be directly connected to another structure.

  • Navigate the building interface quickly. Building creates noise and player-created structures stand out.
  • Wood is the resource to use in building since it takes the least amount of time to build.
  • You can use your walls and such to protect teammates who have fallen in battle.
  • Learn how to set designs to your forts so you can have an advantage when building. The most useful things you can edit a building are windows and doors.
  • Make sure to also build a roof on top of you to prevent players from ambushing you while you are looting, sniping, or reviving a teammate.

Gameplay:

Battle Royal

The match begins when everyone jumps from the battle bus. You can use a glider for a safe landing. If you want to land early and collect the best items land straight down. You have to collect the weaponry and also different types of healing items that are available on the battlefield. You have to survive in the match using any means necessary. You have to be aware of your opponent’s and you have found a safe place to hit them. The safest way to win the end game is to stay in your base and wait for the opponents to come to you. If you stay confident & tough, it’s also very effective to rush other players while they are in combat, as you will most likely clean them up before they get a chance to heal. The landman standing wins the battle.

Save the World

Match begins within the cave, you have to find a way to get out of the cave. A strange and powerful evil attacked the world and 98% of the population vanished in an instant. Your fight begins after that, You have to climb up to your home base. You have to run from zombies and reach the vault and don’t let the zombies come in. You will find robots in the vault and one of them named Ray from the commander support crew will be asking you:

Oh! You’re awake! How’s your head? Okay?

Ray will also tell you about the mission which was to prevent the storm from happening. There is no plan “B” for that, and then you will receive an incoming distress call from Ramirez saying that survivors are in danger & the storm is closing in and then the commander will be connected and you will be on the mission to get those survivors to stay.

The mission begins with an attack from the zombies. You have to destroy everything that blocks your path with your Pickaxe. You have to build your path to get out of the cave. You also have to destroy different things to get resources e.g. trees, cars, and stones. You have to kill the zombies in any way possible using items from your inventory and have to be aware of the traps too.

You have to defend the storm shield and the Atlas. You also have to kill all the zombies to win the match.
