Now with WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas in sight, WWE went to Rogers Centre in Toronto, Ontario for the WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto (2025).
WWE Elimination Chamber (2025) is also the first-ever WWE Elimination Chamber PLE to be broadcast live on Netflix outside the USA, as part of the 10-year deal between WWE and Netflix. The event would also mark the first match of John Cena’s farewell tour which will continue till the end of 2025.
WWE Elimination Chamber match for a Women’s World Championship match at WrestleMania 41
Liv Morgan vs. Bianca Belair vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Bayley vs. Naomi vs. Roxanne Perez
The show kicked off with the 2025 WWE Women’s Elimination Chamber match, where Liv Morgan and Naomi were set to begin the match as the first two participants. Just when the match began, Jade Cargill made her shocking return to the WWE and attacked Naomi — taking her out of the match.
Now with Naomi unable to compete, Bianca Belair entered the match as the 3rd entrant — as she then began the match with Morgan. Roxanne Perez then joined the match as the 4th entrant.
Following her was Bayley who joined the match as the 5th entrant, while none of the women were eliminated besides Naomi. Alexa Bliss then joined the match as the 6th and final entrant.
Morgan then eliminated Bayley from the match. Following her was Bliss, who eliminated Perez from the match.
Morgan then eliminated Bliss from the match, which led to Belair and Morgan being the final two participants in the match.
Belair then eliminated Morgan from the match to head to WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
Result: Bianca Belair won the 2025 Women’s Elimination Chamber match.

Key Notes and Observation:
- Liv Morgan made her 6th appearance in the Elimination Chamber match, more than any other woman in the history of WWE.
- This was Alexa Bliss’s 3rd appearance in the Elimination Chamber match, she also won the first-ever Women’s Elimination Chamber match back in 2018.
- Bayley also made her 3rd appearance in the Elimination Chamber match, she won a Chamber match back in 2019 along with her tag team partner Sasha Banks to become the inguinal WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions.
- Bianca Belair also made her 3rd appearance in the Elimination Chamber match, she also won a Chamber match back in 2022.
- Naomi also made her 3rd appearance in the Elimination Chamber match.
- Roxanne Perez made her 1st appearance in the Elimination Chamber match this year.
Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus vs. Nia Jax and Candice LeRae – Tag Team match
Next up was the Tag Team match between Tiffany Stratton and WWE HOF Trish Stratus against the team of Nia Jax and Candice LeRae.
Stratton and Stratus began the match strong but then got in trouble when Jax began to display her insane power game. The match then rolled on with a double-team offense on Stratus.
Meanwhile, the WWE Universe chanted “We want Tiffany.”
Tiffany then entered the match with the momentum on her side as she fought the duo of Jax and LeRae. Stratus then took out Jax with her signature Stratusfaction from the top rope. LeRae then went for moonsault to break the cover but Stratus moved out of the way — causing her to land on her own partner.
Stratton then delivered the Prettiest Moonsault Ever on Jax to win the match for her team.
Result: Tiffany Stratton and Trish Stratus defeated Nia Jax and Candice LeRae

Sami Zayn battles Kevin Owens in an Unsanctioned match
Following up was the Unsanctioned match between Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens, where WWE held no responsibility for whatever happened during the match. The lights were turned out for the match and the official was also not wearing regular WWE-branded gear, since this match was unsanctioned.
Chairs were the first weapon to be introduced in the match followed up by a hockey stick and tables.
Owens and Zayn went to fight in the WWE Universe, where Zayn tried to fight Owens with a trash can which Pat McAfee referred to as Dominik Mysterio. Zayn even crashed Owens through a couple of tables there.
WWE Universe began chanting “Holy Shit and This is Awesome” as the match continued.
Owens crashed Zayn through a couple of tables from the top rope. Then through a steel chair inside the ring, but he kicked out on the cover.
Owens then took out two referees in frustration as he tried to save himself from Zayn. He then introduced another table in the match. Zayn then tried to hit Owens with a superplex from the top rope but instead, he hit Zayn with a fisherman buster through the table.
Zayn then took out a barbed wire chair from under the ring as he began his assault on Owens. He then hit Owens with a Blue Thunder Bomb through the barbed wire chair. But Owens still kicked out.
Owens then crashed Zayn into the ring post with a steel chair wrapped around his neck, following with a couple of powerbombs through the ring apron to win the match.
Owens then tried to hit Zayn with a powerbomb on the exposed concrete before Randy Orton arrived on the scene to save the day for Zayn.
Orton hit Owens with an RKO, who then ran away before Orton could hit him with the Punt kick.
Result: Kevin Owens defeated Sami Zayn

Elimination Chamber match for an Undisputed WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 41
John Cena vs. CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre vs. Logan Paul vs. Damian Priest vs. Seth “Freakin” Rollins
The main event was the 2025 Men’s Elimination Chamber match, where Drew McIntyre and Seth “Freakin” Rollins began the match as the first two entrants. Damian Priest then entered the match as the 3rd entrant.
Logan Paul then joined the match as the 4th entrant. John Cena then entered the match as the 5th entrant, before Priest eliminated McIntyre from the match. McIntyre then hit Priest with the Claymore kick, allowing Paul to the advantage and eliminate Priest from the match.
CM Punk then entered the match as the 6th and final entrant and eliminated Paul and Rollins from the match.
Cena and Punk were the final two participants in the match. Rollins hit Punk with the stomp before leaving the chamber. Cena then took advantage and locked Punk in the STF to win the match.
An absolutely amazing match. Everything that happened inside the chamber was either linked to a previous plot or the beginning of something new. Incredible storytelling.
Result: John Cena won the 2025 Men’s Elimination Chamber match.

“The Final Boss” The Rock arrives to meet Cody Rhodes
Immediately following the 2025 Men’s Elimination Chamber match, came out WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes. Rhodes had a little moment with his WWE WrestleMania 41 opponent before The Rock arrived on the scene along with Travis Scott.
The Rock then asked Rhodes to be his Champion, saying he wanted his soul.
My soul no longer belongs to me. Because I gave my soul to this ring and these people a long time ago.
Rhodes replied to The Rock
Hey Rock, Go F**k yourself.
Rhodes then said to the Rock as he rejected his offer.
The Rock then signaled Cena as he was hugging Rhodes before he hit him with a low blow and turned heel for the first time since 2003. Cena then began to attack on Rhodes along with Scott and The Rock.
The Rock then beat Rhodes with a weight belt and Scott and Cena held him down on the canvas.
Cena along with The Rock and Scott stood tall in the middle of the ring as he stepped over the neck of Rhodes.

My thoughts on WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto (2025)
WWE Elimination Chamber: Toronto (2025) became the last PLE before WrestleMania 41 set to take place in Las Vegas. The show featured two Elimination Chamber matches where Bianca Belair and John Cena punched their ticket to WrestleMania. The show also featured a Tag Team match along with an Unsanctioned match where Kevin Owens defeated Sami Zayn. I personally loved this match between Owens and Zayn, and I think it stole the whole damn show. Great story along with an incredible match that will live on forever.
John Cena won the Men’s Elimination Chamber match, creating history and shocking the entire WWE Universe. Cena also turned heel first time since 2003, as he attacked Cody Rhodes after his Elimination Chamber match joining The Rock in the process. This one move has literally changed the entire landscape of WWE as the biggest fan favorite has turned on his own values in pursuit of his 17th World Championship.
WWE also rolled on with the Punk and Rollins storyline, I am eagerly waiting to see how that is going to unfold as we move closer to the Mania in Vegas.
