With less than a week away from the 2025 Money in the Bank PLE, WWE Raw has now headed to BOK Center in Tulsa, OK.
Announced in advance of Monday’s show:
- CM Punk vs. AJ Styles vs. El Grande Americano – 2025 Men’s Money in the Bank qualifying match
- Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan vs. Ivy Nile – 2025 Women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match
- Jey Uso and Sami Zayn vs. Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker – Tag Team match
CM Punk Kicks off WWE Raw
Last week’s edition of WWE Raw ended in utter chaos when CM Punk hit Seth Rollins with GTS after he won the triple-threat match to qualify for the 2025 Men’s Money in the Bank match.
Punk kicked off WWE Raw, saying he wants to win the Money in the Bank for the 3rd time in his career and challenge either Jey Uso or John Cena.
Sami Zayn then also arrived on the scene, saying he also wanted to win the World Heavyweight Championship, but his path is not going through Money in the Bank due to Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman. Zayn asked Punk to only focus on qualifying for the Money in the Bank, saying that he doesn’t need to worry about Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker.
Zayn also talked about the consequences of Rollins winning the Money in the Bank, saying everyone needs him to win the triple threat match later on the show. He then also told Punk that if Punk wins the Money in the Bank and becomes the World Heavyweight Champion, they would meet again in this same ring.

Stephanie Vaquer vs. Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan
Liv Morgan met Roxanne Perez backstage before heading to the match, saying she doesn’t want her to be out there after what happened last week here on WWE Raw, when Morgan lost to Kairi Sane due to the ringside distraction caused by Raquel Rodriguez and Perez.
All three of the women came in hungry for a spot in the Women’s Money in the Bank match. Vaquer pinned Nile after she took out Morgan to win the match.
Result: Stephanie Vaquer defeated Ivy Nile and Liv Morgan

Key Notes and Observations:
- Paul Heyman met AJ Styles backstage saying he should forget about the Money in the Bank and focus on winning the Intercontinental Championship. Styles replied saying he knows what kind of game he and Seth Rollins are trying to play.
The War Raiders vs. The Judgment Day
After losing the World Tag Team Championship triple threat match last week here on WWE Raw, the War Raiders tried to bounce back as they faced Judgment Day in a tag team match.
The New Day present at the commentary desk tried to get involved in the match, but the referee decided to eject them from the ringside. Roxanne Perez then provided a crucial distraction during the ending moments of the match which allowed Finn Bálor to take the advantage and pickup the win for his team.
Result: The Judgment Day defeated The War Raiders
Ratings: 6.5 /10
Key Notes and Observations:
- Becky Lynch then appeared in a backstage segment saying Lyra Valkyria will be in a lose-lose situation at the 2025 Money in the Bank. And that she would have to raise her hand too.
Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch come face to face
Lyra Valkyria then arrived on WWE Raw and called out Becky Lynch to the ring, saying she is a coward and delusional. Valkyria told Lynch that she had nothing except to make Valkyria angry and that at Money in the Bank, she would beat her.
Lynch replied saying how Valkyria just wanted to replace and that nobody can really do that. Lynch and Valkyria then went at each other on the stage as the officials tried to separate them.

- Rhea Ripley appeared in a backstage segment where she welcomed Stephanie Vaquer to Monday Night Raw.
Jey Uso and Sami Zayn vs. Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed
Just a few days away from his big tag team match at 2025 Money in the Bank, Jey Uso teamed with Sami Zayn to take on Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.
Breakker and Reed brought a big-time fight to the veterans. Jey and Zayn also came really close to victory before Seth Rollins hit Jey with a stomp to end the match via disqualification.
Rollins and company then the fight to Zayn before CM Punk arrived on the scene with a steel chair to save the day for his buddies.
Result: Jey Uso and Sami Zayn defeated Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed via disqualification

Kairi Sane vs. Raquel Rodriguez
Liv Morgan met Finn Bálor backstage who told him that Roxanne Perez was just here to help them all. Morgan also pointed towards certain trust issues, not clearly mentioning who she was talking about. Morgan then asked Balor to keep Perez backstage during Raquel Rodriguez’s match.
Rodriguez delivered an impressive performance in the match with little ringside help from Morgan before Iyo Sky came to her Sane. This allowed Sane to put away Rodriguez and win the match.
Result: Kairi Sane defeated Raquel Rodriguez

Key Notes and Observations:
- WWE Raw then went backstage where Karrion Kross told Sami Zayn that he is not a good guy but just a bad guy. Zayn denied the accusation, to which Kross replied saying he could be wrong, but right too.
- Gunther met Jey Uso backstage saying that his party as the World Heavyweight Champion is over while Jey replied saying he would make him tap again.
CM Punk vs. AJ Styles vs. El Grande Americano
WWE Raw then featured a triple threat match between CM Punk, AJ Styles, and El Grande Americano to determine the final participant of the 2025 Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. This match also marked Chad Gable’s second attempt to enter the 2025 Men’s Money in the Bank match, as he also competed last week here on WWE Raw using his real identity.
All three men gave their all against each other in the match. Punk came close to winning the match before Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed pulled him outta the ring and began assaulting him. Jey Uso and Sami Zayn then came out to help Punk before Styles took them all out with a splash from the top rope.
This allowed El Grande Americano to hit Styles with an iron headbutt to win the match.
Punk began assaulting Breakker and Reed after the match before Seth Rollins also arrived on the scene and began to attack Punk, Zayn and Jey.
Result: El Grande Americano defeated CM Punk and AJ Styles

My thoughts on this week’s edition of WWE Raw:
WWE really didn’t need to do much for the final WWE Raw before the 2025 Money in the Bank PLE, as they already plotted all the storylines very well leading into the show. Besides all that, WWE Raw still marked an important show for the coming weeks with the arrival of Stephanie Vaquer, and El Grande Americano, who just punched his ticket to Los Angeles.
The CM Punk and Seth Rollins storyline has been taking new and edgy turns day by day, now Zayn and Jey are also in the picture — things have all started to draw a line between the good and bad.
Are we heading toward a big-time faction match soon in the future? Maybe WarGames…
