WWE SmackDown Results: Winners, Ratings, and Highlights From Apr. 25
After a history-making WrestleMania 41 on this past weekend, WWE SmackDown has headed to Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, TX.

After making history at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, John Cena kicked off WWE SmackDown where he was interrupted by Randy Orton before he could even begin talking.
Orton talked about how Cena has motivated a generation of kids during his career, telling Cena that he finally needs to have kids in his real life too. Cena replied saying he spent the last 25 years raising other people’s kids. Cena then went after a kid in the audience who showed him the middle finger.
Orton then gave Cena a reality check saying these same fans are the reason why he became such a big Hollywood star and made it so far in WWE. Cena then mocked the fans for not being honest with him during all these years. Cena then talked about how he is going to erase the history of the past 3 generations of Orton’s family when he takes this championship with him, forcing WWE to create a new one.
Orton then had enough of challenged Cena to a match right then and there. Cena accepted the challenge but said that the match would take place in Orton’s hometown at WWE Backlash in St. Louis. He then attacked Orton, who hit him with an RKO.

Fraxiom vs. Los Garzas
Los Garzas took on Fraxiom, who made their WWE SmackDown debut after dropping the NXT Tag Team Championship at NXT Stand & Deliver in Las Vegas.
Axiom and Nathan Frazer delivered an incredible performance to pick up their first win on the blue brand.
Result: Fraxiom defeated Los Garzas

Tiffany Stratton vs. Jade Cargill
After retaining her Women’s Championship against Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 41, Tiffany Stratton arrived on WWE SmackDown to celebrate her biggest win. Jade Cargill then decided to interrupt the champion saying that by defeating Flair, she has put a target on her back. Both Stratton and Cargill then agreed to a match which began immediately.
Stratton and Cargill left it all in the ring as they delivered an incredible performance in a crucial match. Naomi then attacked Cargil, but ran away after a stare down with Stratton who then got attacked by Nia Jax from behind.
Result: Jade Cargill defeated Tiffany Stratton via disqualification
Ratings: 6.5 /10
Everyone wants a shot at the United States Championship
After winning the WWE United States Championship at WrestleMania 41, Jacob Fatu arrived on WWE SmackDown alongside Solo Sikoa. Sikoa talked about how he thinks that Fatu is the future and that nobody in his family besides him wanted Fatu to be in WWE. Sikoa then continued to brag about how he made Fatu what he is, before Fatu snatched the microphone from him.
Fatu then said that he told Sikoa about what he was going to do, and then he did it at WrestleMania. LA Knight then also arrived on the scene saying he wants his rematch. Drew McIntyre then came out as well saying he wants to fight Fatu.
Knight and McIntyre then exchanged a few words before GM Nick Aldis arrived on the scene and put them in a match to become the No.1 contender for the United States Championship.

Chelsea Green (c) vs. Zelina Vega – WWE Women’s United States Championship
Zelina Vega defeated Chelsea Green in a non-title singles match last week here on WWE SmackDown, as she now faces Green once again but this time for her Women’s United States Championship.
Piper Niven and Alba Fyre took cheap shots at Vega during the match, but the referee caught them red-handed and ejected them both from the ringside to make the match fair. Vega then hit Green with a Code Red to win her first singles championship by becoming the new Women’s United States Champion.
Result: Zelina Vega defeated Chelsea Green (c) to become the new WWE Women’s United States Champion

Aleister Black is Back
The Miz then came to the ring, complaining how he was not on the WrestleMania card this year in Las Vegas. Miz kept running his mouth until the lights finally went out and Aleister Black made his long-awaited return to WWE.
Black delivered an incredible Black Mass to Miz.

LA Knight vs. Drew McIntyre – No.1 contender match for the United States Championship
After meeting earlier on WWE SmackDown, LA Knight and Drew McIntyre met in a singles match to determine the next No.1 contender for Jacob Fatu’s United States Championship.
Knight and McIntyre gave each other everything they had, leaving all in the ring. Solo Sikoa also got involved behind the referee’s back as he hit Knight with the Spike.
McIntyre took advantage and tried to hit Knight with the Claymore kick before Damian Priest attacked him from behind. Priest also sent McIntyre through the announce table with a South of Heaven chokeslam. Knight and Priest then had an argument before Fatu attacked both of them.
Result: LA Knight defeated Drew McIntyre via disqualification

Street Profits (c) vs. DIY vs. Motor City Machine Guns – Triple Threat TLC match for the WWE Tag Team Championship
After the Tag Team Championship match between Street Profits (c) and Motor City Machine Guns ended in chaos last week here on WWE SmackDown. GM Nick Aldis scheduled a Triple Threat TLC match between all three teams.
All three teams gave their all, delivering one banger of a TLC match that will be remembered for years to come. All superstars involved in the match proved the creative heads wrong by not adding them on the WrestleMania card, as they delivered a WrestleMania-level match on Friday night.
Street Profits defeated DIY and Motor City Machine Guns to retain their WWE Tag Team Championship.

My thoughts on this week’s edition of WWE SmackDown:
WWE delivered one banger of an episode of WWE SmackDown after WrestleMania 41, filled with high-stakes championship matches all over the show. Two former enemies, Cena and Orton have once again crossed paths to rewrite history one last time at Backlash.
I really liked the return of Aleister Black, would love to see how WWE books him in the near future. The Triple Threat TLC match for the WWE Tag Team Championship was the best match of the entire night as Street Profits (c) defeated DIY and Motor City Machine Guns to steal the whole show.
