In the wake of WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XXXVII, WWE Raw went to TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. WWE Raw began backstage with the arrival of The Judgment Day. Along with Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker and his opponent for the night Ludwig Kaiser. The show also featured a highlight of what happened after Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens’s match ended.
Announced in advance of Monday’s show:
- CM Punk kicks off WWE Raw with the promo
- Bron Breakker (c) vs. Ludwig Kaiser – Intercontinental Championship
- Kayden Carter vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Zoey Stark – 1st Round Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament “Triple Threat match”
- Seth Rollins promo
- The latest from The New Day
- The War Raiders vs. Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh (c) – World Tag Team Championship “Judgement Day is banned from ringside”

CM Punk kicks off WWE Raw with the promo
CM Punk appeared in the ring when the show moved into the arena. Punk taunted Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins saying: “Careful, Some people might get mad when you chant my name.” as the crowd chanted his name all over the arena. He then addressed what happened here on Raw two weeks ago, when he went face-to-face with Seth Rollins. Punk also mentioned that over the course of the last two weeks, he has been thinking about Seth Rollins from time to time. He also mentioned that it is only a matter of time before he and Rollins go face-to-face in a match.
Punk then took a shot at Rollins, saying that it was just a matter of time before your stupid music hit and you walk down to this ring. Punk then mentioned what he did to Drew McIntyre in their Hell in a Cell match, asking Rollins if he is tougher than that.
Seth Rollins finally appeared in the arena and made his way to the ringside, just like in the good old Shield days back then. Rollins then pretends to see Punk from way up in the arena, saying that he might be able to see why people chant his name. Before saying “Even from way out here, You’re still an A**hole”.
Rollins then took a shot at Punk saying “This fan here in the attendance have got more WrestleMania main-event than you’ll ever get”.
Punk then went after Rollins when he mentioned him with his real name “Phil”. A brawl between both Rollins and Punk began as security and WWE officials immediately rushed to the ring area to stop them. Punk and Rolins then took the fight to each other.
Rollins and Punk fought all over the arena, in the middle of the crowd with no one being able to stop them. I think now that WWE has started to build their feud properly, we might see a match at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas or maybe even before. But whenever it happens, I think that we will certainly witness a match like never seen before in the history of WWE.
Whatever WWE and Triple H are cooking, I can smell something worthy of a blockbuster right around the corner.

Backstage segment featuring Judgement Day on WWE Raw
WWE Raw then went backstage inside the Judgement Day’s locker room. Finn Bálor was seen upset about the fact that Judgement Day didn’t show up during his match at the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event XXXVII against Gunther and Priest.

Bron Breakker (c) vs. Ludwig Kaiser – Intercontinental Championship
The show then featured a match for the Intercontinental Championship. Both Bron Breakker and Ludwig Kaiser are looking to make their legacy. They also went face-to-face backstage last week here on WWE Raw when Breakker called Kaiser a watchdog and slapped him.
WWE Raw then went backstage where Raw GM Adam Pearce tried to talk to Seth Rollins about what happened between Punk and him moments ago when Raw kicked off. Rollins then asked Pearce to make this match official between him and CM Punk. Rollins went all in on Pearce to make this match official, calling this match to be the biggest fight he could put on. WWE Raw then went back to the ringside as Breakker defended his Intercontinental Championship against Kaiser.
Breakker tried to use his bow to his advantage in the early goings of the match, to which Kaiser responded with a slap to the face.
The ticked-off Breakker then responded with his speed as he took out Kaiser with a clothesline. Kaiser then took the fight to Breakker as he targeted his left arm, making the champion vulnerable. The game plan of Breakker could clearly be seen thrown out the window by the veteran Kaiser who continued to inflict more punishment on the champion.
Even with his left arm unable to be used due to pain, Breakker somehow managed to keep himself in the match for the moment. Kaiser did everything in his power to overcome the speed and power of Breakker. By using his freak power and speed Breakker somehow managed to pin the Kaiser after delivering his super spear.
Ludwig Kaiser always finds a way to bring something special to the show whether it’s his mic skills or his incredible in-ring abilities. I think it is just a matter of a short time before WWE should consider Kaiser a strong competitor for either the Intercontinental Championship or the United States Championship.
Result: Bron Breakker (c) def Ludwig Kaiser

The segment started like it usually does, as WWE Universe was in the no mood for hearing what Dominik had to say. I must say one thing this dude has everything needed to be a proper heel character which the audience hates more than anything.

As the three womens were making their way to ring for this match. Raw went backstage featuring a segment between “The Final Testament” and The Miz, where Karrion Kross told The Miz that he would be facing Dexter Lumis aka Mercy the Buzzard. The same guy who kidnapped and tortured him.
Kross then instructed The Miz to go to Adam Pearce and make this match official.
Meanwhile in the arena 1st Round Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament “Triple Threat match” began. All three womens did everything they could, using every offensive maneuver they could. In the ending moments of the match, Rodriguez lifted Carter to deliver her signature Tejana Bomb which Stark interrupted with a missile drop kick from the top turnbuckle. Start then delivered her signature Z-360 to win the match and advance to the semi-finals.

Overall the match and the finish were really smooth to see. The match was quite entertaining for a weekly show. I must say that Zoey Stark winning this match was really awesome to see.

It was now time for the main event on WWE Raw, as War Raiders looked to regain the World Tag Team Championship. Ivar started the match for his team, he looked promising during the early moments of the match as took out both Bálor and McDonagh single-handily for the moment. Bálor and McDonagh finally got control of the match as they delivered double-team offense on the Ivar. Erik finally got things back in control for the team as he took out McDonagh. As of this part of the match, The War Raiders were dominating The Judgement Day in the championship match.
The War Raiders then took the fight to The Judgement Day, who did not have any plans for the night as the rest of their crew were banned from the ringside.

The Judgement Day was putting up everything they had got but it was not enough to keep The War Raiders down. McDonagh then brought the steel chair into the match, as the referee tried to stop him Bálor took the advantage and tried to use a chair to his advantage before Damian Priest appeared on the scene and stopped Bálor.
Erik and Ivar then attempted their signature War Machine to win the match and become the new World Tag Team Champions.

My thoughts on this week’s edition of WWE Raw
This week’s edition of WWE Raw was pretty okay, WWE tried to use the show to build up the story for the Raw’s debut on Netflix in Jan 2025. The show also featured two championship matches for the Intercontinental and World Tag Team Championships. I really like to see War Raiders become the new World Tag Team Champions. WWE also used Damian Priest in the mix, which I think is a brilliant move by the creative. I have been wondering for so long to see Finn Bálor and Damian Priest cross paths. If given the opportunity, the duo can deliver something really awesome that fans will remember for a long time.
I once had an idea where thought that Finn Bálor should have won the 2024 Elimination Chamber. If that could have happened, I thought what if Finn defeats Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL, and then on the Raw after WrestleMania Priest cashes in his Money In The Bank? We could have seen history repeat itself once more, as Bálor would defeat Rollins once again as he did at WWE SummerSlam 2016.
Bálor could then return later at any time near the WrestleMania 41 season and begin his feud with Priest to become the World Heavyweight Champion.
Man o Man, That could have been crazy to see!
That’s all from me for now, I’ll catch up later with some more WWE.
My Ratings for the show: 7.5 /10
