Den of Thieves 2: Pantera is an Action and Thriller film set to be released on January 10, 2025. Starring Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr. in the leading roles, the film is a direct sequel to Den of Thieves released back in 2018.
The film is based on the “Antwerp diamond heist” that happened on 15th and 16th Feb, 2023 in Antwerp, Belgium. The heist originally reported over $100 million of property that was stolen including “Diamonds, gold, silver and various other types of jewelry”. The word “Pantera” in the name of the film is a reference to the band of jewel thieves who went by the name Pink Panthers.
The film is written and directed by Christian Gudegast and based on the characters of Paul Scheuring & Gudegast.
Storyline of Den of Thieves 2: Pantera
The story of Den of Thieves 2: Pantera begins with Nicholas “Big Nick” O’Brien, who is now back on the hunt for Donnie Wilson in Europe as he is planning to do another heist at the world’s largest diamond exchange. Meanwhile, Donnie Wilson is now incriminated in a perilous and unpredictable world of diamond thieves and the infamous Panther mafia. The plot of the film revolves around a heist at the world’s largest diamond exchange.

My Thoughts on Den of Thieves 2: Pantera
The hype for Den of Thieves 2: Pantera is unreal as fans are eagerly waiting to see the return of Gerard Butler and O’Shea Jackson Jr in another incredible thriller involving another high-stakes heist following up with its previous part from 2018 which earned $80.5 million in the box office.
Den of Thieves 2: Pantera seems to be very promising for his fans along with the new audience who will be seeing it for the first, going deep into the criminal underworld involving the plot based on the “Pink Panthers” diamond robbery.
