After shaking the entire landscape of WWE this past Saturday at WWE Elimination Chamber in Toronto. WWE SmackDown now heads to Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA as we witness the fallout from one the most historic nights in the history of WWE, all of that and much more on the road to WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
Randy Orton returns to WWE SmackDown
WWE SmackDown began backstage with an attack by Drew McIntyre on Damian Priest after he eliminated him from the 2025 Men’s Elimination Chamber match.
Randy Orton then arrived on WWE SmackDown after making his return at the 2025 WWE Elimination Chamber PLE in Toronto. Orton then talked about his history with Kevin Owens, saying that he admires the wrestling skills of Owens. But he has a problem with Owens himself.
Orton then mentioned the recent history of Owens with Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn, saying that he is just a jealous man. He then said that he would soon Punt kick Ownes.
Tiffany Stratton vs. Piper Niven
WWE SmackDown then featured a video highlight from earlier on the show, where Tiffany Stratton challenged Piper Niven to a singles match after getting into a verbal exchange with Chelsea Green backstage at Nick Aldis’s office.
Stratton and Niven then fought each other in a singles match where Stratton picked up an easy win.
Stratton’s opponent from WrestleMania 41 — Charlotte Flair then attacked her after the match locking her into the figure-eight leglock.
Result: Tiffany Stratton defeated Piper Niven

A backstage segment featuring GM Nick Aldis
GM Nick Aldis then appeared in a backstage segment addressing the current chaos among the men’s tag team division. Aldis announced that the Street Profits will challenge DIY next week here on WWE SmackDown for the WWE Tag Team Championship.
Meanwhile, Motor City Machine Guns, Pretty Deadly, and Los Garza will battle each other in a Triple Threat match to determine which team will be next line for the WWE Tag Team Championship as the No.1 contenders.
Motor City Machine Guns vs. Pretty Deadly vs. Los Garzas
After a pretty chaotic and quick Triple Threat Tag Team match, Pretty Deadly pulled off a big win to become the new No.1 contender for the WWE Tag Team Championship.
Result: Pretty Deadly defeated Motor City Machine Guns and Los Garzas to become the new No.1 contender for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

Who attacked Jade Cargill?
The winner of the 2025 Women’s Elimination Chamber match, Bianca Belair then arrived on WWE SmackDown — and called out Naomi to get some answers on whatever is going on between Jade Cargill and her.
Naomi tangled the whole situation saying a ton of things to her defense except unveiling whether she attacked Cargill or not. Belair then demanded a simple yes or no answer from Naomi to which she said:
I did it. I did it for you. I did it for us.
Naomi said to Belair.
Belair then walked off from Naomi saying this friendship between them is all over.
Cargill then arrived at the ring and attacked Naomi, knocking her out with her signature Jaded.
Backstage interview segment ft. Drew McIntyre
After attacking Damian Priest earlier on the show, Drew McIntyre appeared in an interview segment with Byron Saxton saying that Priest stole his last chance of heading to the WrestleMania 41.
McIntyre also stated that because of Priest he now has nothing but violence.
Backstage interview segment ft. Charlotte Flair
Charlotte Flair then appeared in an interview segment with Byron Saxton telling why she attacked Tiffany Stratton earlier on the show. F-Fab then arrived on the segment as well telling Flair that she and no other women want to be compared to her and that all of the womens want to build their own legacy.
Flair then challenged F-Fab to a singles match next week here on WWE SmackDown.
Solo Sikoa faces Braun Strowman in a singles match on WWE SmackDown
Solo Sikoa interfered in a singles match between Braun Strowman and Carmelo Hayes last week here on WWE SmackDown leading to this one-on-one match between both of them.
Tama Tonga attacked Strowman in the middle of the match — causing the match to end via disqualification.
Jacob Fatu also arrived on the scene as well, creating chaos between the two monsters. Strowman then hit Fatu with a chokeslam through the tables.
Result: Braun Strowman defeated Solo Sikoa via DQ

Backstage interview segment ft. LA Knight
LA Knight then appeared in an interview segment with Byron Saxton saying that he would send Shinsuke Nakamura back to the factory setting later tonight in their US Championship match.
Chelsea Green (c) vs. Michin – Street Fight for the WWE Women’s United States Championship
Zelina Vega then appeared in a backstage segment with Chelsea Green who was helping her friend Piper Niven after the beat down she suffered in a match against Tiffany Stratton. Vega told Green that whoever wins tonight, she is waiting next in line.
Next up was an epic Street fight for the WWE Women’s United States Championship. Green and Michin gave their all to each other as they brought all the carnage they could. Green retained the championship as the returning Alba Fyre attacked Michin with a Candian destroyer.
It was then unveiled that Fyre has now joined Green, debuting her new persona.
Result: Chelsea Green (c) defeated Michin to retain her WWE Women’s United States Championship

Backstage segment ft. Los Garzas
Los Garzas then appeared in a backstage segment with Santos Escobar — who told them to start winning now. Andrade then appeared after Escobar left, saying to Humberto that they didn’t need to hear that from Santos Escobar.
“The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes arrives on WWE SmackDown
After getting attacked by The Rock, Travis Scott, and John Cena at the 2025 WWE Elimination Chamber in Toronto, Cody Rhodes then arrived on WWE SmackDown — still carrying the bruises from the 3-on-1 beat down on him.
Rhodes poured out all his emotions telling Cena that he will not hold back when they meet at WrestleMania 41.

Backstage segment ft. The Miz, Nick Aldis, Carmelo Hayes, and Randy Orton on WWE SmackDown
The Miz then appeared in a backstage segment with GM Nick Aldis before Carmelo Hayes and Randy Orton also arrived on the scene. Aldis then asked Orton about facing Hayes next week here on WWE SmackDown.
Drew McIntyre vs. Jimmy Uso
After attacking Jimmy Uso on the Feb. 21st edition of WWE SmackDown, after losing the match — McIntyre once again met Jimmy to renew their rivalry.
Jimmy tried to put up a good fight against McIntyre but it didn’t last for too long, as McIntyre managed to defeat Jimmy.
Damian Priest attacked McIntyre after his match — returning the favor to McIntyre for what he did earlier on the show.
Result: Drew McIntyre defeated Jimmy Uso

Backstage segment ft. DIY
Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa then in a backstage interview segment looked confident ahead of their Tag Team title match against The Street Profits.
LA Knight vs. Shinsuke Nakamura – WWE United States Championship
The main event this week was the United States Championship match between current champ Shinsuke Nakamura and former champion LA Knight. Knight earned this opportunity on the Feb. 28th edition of WWE SmackDown, when he defeated Carmelo Hayes and Jacob Fatu in a Triple Threat match.
Nakamura tried to use the steel chair but the referee Charles Robinson tried to stop him before he accidentally hit him with mist while aiming for Knight.
Knight then hit Nakamura with the Blunt Force Trauma to become the new WWE United States Champion.
Result: LA Knight defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to become the new WWE United States Champion

My thoughts on this week’s edition of WWE SmackDown
This week’s edition of WWE SmackDown featured quite an adequate show considering that we are now in the final few weeks of the WrestleMania 41 buildup.
The show featured some really good matches with LA Knight now once again regaining the WWE US Championship. We now also have Pretty Deadly in the WWE Tag Team Championship picture, would love to see them rise soon. Although it was just a casual weekly show from the blue brand, the matches were delivered well.
