WWE SummerSlam (2025) is the 38th annual SummerSlam PLE set to take place on Saturday, August 2, and Sunday, August 3, 2025, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This will be the first WWE SummerSlam PLE in the history of WWE that will take place on two nights.
WWE SummerSlam is one of the “Big Five” WWE PLEs along with WWE WrestleMania, Royal Rumble, Survivor Series, and Money in the Bank. This year’s event is also known as “SummerSlam: New Jersey”.
WWE SummerSlam (2025) is the first-ever WWE SummerSlam PLE to be broadcast live on Netflix outside the USA, as part of the 10-year deal between WWE and Netflix. This would also be the last time when John Cena would be a part of WWE SummerSlam as part of John Cena’s farewell tour which will continue till the end of 2025. The event will feature superstars from both WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown.
